A Kitchen Remodeler That Starts With the Calendar

Spazioxyz is a kitchen remodeling contractor working in Palm Springs and the nearby valley towns. We do the whole job: layout, cabinets, counters, backsplash, lighting, plumbing and electrical. What makes us a little different is the order we think about it in. Before we talk about door styles, we talk about dates.

That habit comes from how people live here. A lot of our clients split the year. They are in the desert from late fall through spring and somewhere else once the summer heat arrives. Others own a condo or a house that rents to guests for most of the season. For both, the question that matters is not only what the kitchen will look like. It is whether the kitchen will be finished and working on the day they need it.

How We Work

• Decisions in person, construction in the quiet months. We try to finish design and selections while you are still in town, then build while the house is empty.
• A real schedule, written down. Permit time, cabinet lead time, slab fabrication and inspections each get a line, so you can see where the slack is and where it is not.
• Summer hours. Early starts, early deliveries and air conditioning left running inside, because heat affects materials as much as it affects people.
• Updates you do not have to chase. Photos at each stage and a call before anything gets covered up.
• Straight answers about scope. If refacing sound cabinets gets you most of the way there, we say so.

The Houses We Work In

Palm Springs has an unusual mix of homes: mid century post and beam houses with clerestory windows and open plans, older hillside properties, and condo complexes with their own HOA rules about work hours. Each one asks for something slightly different, from cutting a concrete slab to move a sink to reserving a service elevator for cabinet delivery.
